Congratulations to your boys basketball teams on their victories over the Roadrunners of Rincon Vista in their final games of the season.  The C2 team started off with a 21-7 win, followed by the C1 team with a 18-7 win.  The B team defeated the Roadrunners 38-8 and the A team finished the evening with a 52-30 victory over Rincon Vista.  The undefeated A team will be playing their first game of the tournament next Tuesday at 3:45pm, come out and cheer them on to victory.

 
Cougars, it’s Christmastime and that means candy canes! CIMI Club will be selling candy cane grams at all lunches for the next week and they’re only $1! Be sure to buy some for your friends or that special someone.
 
Any students who have participated or are planning to participate in the Tucson Festival of Books Art Competition – your deadline is approaching FAST! All artwork is due by December 19th. If you would like Ms. Wilson to send the entry in for you – please turn in your work to her by December 17th. Thank you!

Girls soccer played great games against OVMS at home last night with a goal from Ava Boxley.
B Team won with two goals from Brianna Cueto and one goal scored by the RAT.

It’s here! It’s finally here! No not Christmas silly, the drama club
performance is tonight and tomorrow in the MPR at 7pm. We will finally
figure out what happened to Santa. Tickets are $3 at the door and
there will be snacks for just $1each

What a great year for our food drive. Our final total was 5844 cans,
over 2,000 more than last year!  Our reigning Queen of Cans held on
to her title,Mrs. Thach with an impressive 2475.

Congrats to the girls soccer! Last night they battled RVMS and A team came
away with a 2-1 win. Goals from Ava Boxley and Annalise Tessen. Huge
shoutout to Callie Erickson with 11 saves including a save during a penalty
kick. Great job to Team B as they played hard and came away with a tie.
Great job girls!

Vail families enjoy the holidays. Our can goal is 6000, and we would
like to collect enough money for 25 turkeys. If your advisory collects
$25 and you donate, you will receive a Turkeys care pass. Come on

Last night the girls soccer team battled Esmond Station. Shoutout to
Madison Kirk  on the A team who scored the first goal of the season!
B team came away with an impressive 3-0 win. Michele Howard with her

finished with a score of 18-2, the C1 team defeated Esmond Station
33-0, the B team continued the winning with a score of 31-3, and the A
team finished the evening with an outstanding performance winning
55-8.  Great job boys!

overall finish.  They played a tough championship match Against old

Congratulations to the Desert Sky Volleyball A and B Teams for their
victory over Corona Foothills. Both teams showed an impressive victory
winning in two sets

Desert Sky students! Do you like Stranger Things? Are you brave enough
to face a demigorgon? Then come join the new D&D club with Mr. Olvera
in room 502 on Wednesdays from 3 to 4pm starting on August 21! No
experience is necessary and snacks will be provided.

NJHS members interested in running for office, applications are due by 12:00
pm Wednesday, 8/14. No late applications will be accepted. See Mrs.
Vera with questions.

Attention students! American Sign Language Club will begin on Thursday
August 15 in Mrs. Jackson’s room, 503, right after school. No
experience needed and all are welcome! Come learn basic communication
