Food Bag Information

Hello wonderful Desert Sky families,
I hope you all are hanging in there during this difficult time! It is definitely something for the history books! 🙂 I wanted to reach out to you as my families that get our Friday bags…we are still wanting to get those out to folks so I wanted to see about your availability. I’m not sure when I will be getting them so I will be in contact to get them to you. Would you be able to meet me at the school if I set a specific time? Also, just like Christmas, I can get you a basket for Easter. Please reply to this email if you continue to be in need and how many are in your family. As this was a surprise, I left school without my files. 🙂

Thanks so much! I will definitely be in touch!

School Closure Information

March 15, 2020

Dear Vail Parents and Guardians,

Governor Doug Ducey has just announced statewide school closures to take effect March 16th through March 27th.

Please review the announcement from the Governor and the State Superintendent to parents here.

This means that Vail students will have an extended Spring Break through March 30th. We are making plans to provide learning opportunities for the week of March 23rd through March 27th and beyond if necessary.

The Governor’s announcement encourages the continuation of childcare options. As of now, our Community Services and VIP childcare will remain open.

Please be on the lookout for further communication before school resumes on March 30th.
